Having never been to Grenoble before, I couldn't say if this neighborhood is "up and coming," "off the beaten path," or simply nicer and less tourist-y than the area around my hotel (no surprise!).The food is self-described, in english, as Creative Asian, and indeed it is well conceived and executed. Nice spot for people watching, great wines, of course, and the desserts are definintely worth saving a little room for!
Dishes generous and very refined with flavors that change from what you know and with a beautiful presentation, desserts were good but not very generous for the price and I expected more originality in the taste. Very good service with very nice servers and a good atmosphere. I advise for those looking for new flavors!
European interpretation of Asian fusion food. The night before we ate there we were not able to get a table. On 'our' night (Saturday) it was pretty quiet. Quality was okay. Staff is friendly. Prices are fair. Could have warned us that the Bento box also contains dumplings when we ordered both.

Excellent discovery! We took an entrance and a dish, and we were conquered by the 2. An explosion of flavors in the mouth, and a listening staff, who advises us very well. I recommend closed eyes if you want to discover homemade dishes and new flavors!

We chose Brother John's for two reasons -- they took reservations (which is great when you have a party of 10) and the menu looked awesome.
