I was eager to try the gluten-free options at this restaurant, but I should have left as soon as I saw the state of the place. They had just opened for lunch, and every table was dirty. The restaurant felt old, dusty, and unkempt. There were dirty condiment bottles, a filthy kitchen, a grimy bathroom, and even cobwebs and dead bugs on the window frames. When I asked the server for utensils, he brought them over with soaking wet hands, dripping all over the utensils. I really regret not walking out at that point. My wife and I were looking for gluten free lunch options in the area and we were blown away by the food. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic and my wifes burger was really juicy. All of the food was exceptional and portions were plentiful. Like... I like to eat and even I had to get a take away box.Even if it 's just for fries stop here. You won 't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free buns were good. Most of types fall apart but the ones here hold together really well! When we asked for what was gluten free, the guy running the shop said everything . Needless to say, they don 't have trouble accomodating dietary restrictions.

I love, love, love this place. My favourite crispy fries ever. I moved to ottawa, never having had fried chicken, a few years ago and lil Mac’s did not disappoint me! It’s been so hard to find good “fast food” as a celiac my whole life but lil Mac’s is completely gluten free and is a very regular takeout option for me. I also love to sit outside on their patio in good weather

This was a tasty place to eat! Quick, friendly service with good food. All their menu items are gluten free by default. The only gluten containing thing is the buns for sandwiches and they have gluten free buns!There is an eat in resraurant with some booths. My burger was seriously undercooked. I only realized it after taking two bites—while rare steak can be acceptable, ground meat should never be served that way. Additionally, the burger fell apart, and the buns were incredibly soggy. I hope the meat was freshly ground, but I have a feeling I might not be so fortunate.

This place has the best gluten-free burgers, chicken and waffles, French fries, and milkshakes in town! I wonder what this historic building was used for before Mac's moved in, even though it's not as grand as some other establishments in Hintonburg. My wife and i had exellent fish and chips it was a small portion unfortunately service and has parking on site and seating you can watch the kitchen cook and everything is lactose and gluten free and you wouldnt even notice will be returning!

The chicken basket was an amazing indulgence! It wasn’t greasy, and the fries were nice and crispy too. Would go back again sometime in the future.

Food was awesome, Mac Club was delicious. Extra points for the melted cheese curds and double thick bacon. Overall excellent. Great southern feel.
