As expected, another enjoyable experience at Livestock Tavern. We shared the Smoked Octopus which is consistently delicious. The smoked fresh tako flavor is enhanced by the andouille sausage and complemented by the olives, artichokes and lemon aioli. The seared duck breast also remains a favorite of my partner and this time it has been elevated to be the best duck she has had in Hawaii! Was looking forward to having the crab crusted salmon but my disappointment; when it was mentioned that they run out of the salmon, was short lived once I heard about their special: scallops wrapped in bacon with mushrooms, caramelized onions and potatoes on a bone marrow sauce. I love this restaurant. Food is delicious, particularly the brussel sprouts and pumpkin dish. Our server, Chelsea, was prompt and courteous. Ambience is lovely. It is a bit loud because of the acoustics, so it can be a bit difficult to have a quiet conversation. But, overall, one of my very favorite places to dine.
Overall great experience! The only thing that was not a fun experience was the table. It kept wobbling a lot which was distracting for our first time there. I’d want that fix. But overall great place will probably come back.
Not impressed with the food we ordered. Scallop risotto was super oily and not what I was hoping for. Not sure if I would eat here again. Service and ambience was great though. Probably a better place for drinks than eating.

As always, a wonderful dining experience in Chinatown, HNL. Serving seasonal dishes and with an interesting wine/cocktail menu. Love coming here with a small group of friends (also great for a date).
Just what we needed pre Hawai’i Theatre show. Highly recommend- food and service was excellent! As visitors from Australia we were taking pot luck for this meal and we really got lucky!!
The food and drinks were AMAZEBALLS! Great food and the perfect drinks to go with them. And the waiter made sure we were out of there in time for our show at Hawaii Theater.
