When people of different faiths and cultures come in and ask “what flavor is your curry”? Saying I don’t know or “it’s Japanese curry” is not an answer. Chicken beef pork vegetarian etc etc those are “flavors”….. people of different faiths may have restrictions. So that’s why individuals may ask…. Worker cleaning his mouth with his bare hands yuck twice on mouth and also brushing his hair with his hands and going straight to handle food without washing his hands or caring about being clean or caring even 1 percent. I let the cashier and owner ? know and was quickly refunded. Never ever coming back as the employee laughed and washed his hands for a few seconds and the elder Asian employee trying to say in English -don’t worry don’t worry- I’m like it’s my health and I have to worry. So nasty!!!!!
Absolutely the best Food that I have had in a long time and the best service by far A+ super nice employees answer all my questions and did not make me feel out of place at all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. In fact, my wife was talking to me about how she doesn’t like white rice and she didn’t know that that’s what came with it and they overheard her saying that and gave her the best macaroni salad you have ever had in your life must come here
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting various L&L Hawaiian Barbecue spots, and I’m always impressed by the remarkable consistency in the quality of their food. No matter which location I find myself at, the standard of service is reliably excellent. The food is fresh, demonstrating their commitment to preparing meals to order.

Food is really solid, it’s a normal restaurant casual. The wait has been a little long from order to pick up. It’s definitely nice to have a different option from standard take out scene. It is usually enough leftover for a lunch the next day depending on what you get.
Get there early. The sign says they close at 9:00 PM, the staff say 8:45. I got there at 8:48, all the chairs were up, and the floors were moped. When I'm able to get their food, I like this restaurant.
Another good L&L location. Ordered my usual chicken and beef, everything taste so good. Also ordered a chicken katsu Musubi, great as well. Service is great, he is welcoming and nice.
Drove to Woodland just to try the L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Our family has been to Hawaiian BBQ restaurant in the Bay Area. Very good food.

Really liked this location for speed and correct order. Garlic shrimp chicken katsu musubi spam musubi.
Food is average. Portion sizes for short rib has lessened. Fries are always good
