While exploring downtown San Mateo, I found myself unsure of what to eat. With limited options because of the pandemic and a growing hunger, I decided to try a Hawaiian restaurant. I ordered the Aloha plate and Loco Moco, which were what I expected from a Hawaiian eatery. However, I was let down by the thin patty in the Loco Moco and probably wouldn't order it again. Nevertheless, I rated the restaurant four stars because of the outstanding service and the delicious, hot food.
sometimes they only have one request for a snack between lunch and dinner. You don't want it to be too hard. in such times a spam musubi of l and l meets the point! warm rice with beautiful hot spray top. put a little Sricha sauce, they have a winner. l and l is a not frills place that makes generous portions of food from the Hawaiian insulates. the personal wears masks and there is a bottle of hand sanitizer that turns around.
The location of this restaurant is excellent! I placed a large order for 10 employees, and everything was correct. The staff was very accommodating when there was an issue with my order and promptly canceled it. I called the restaurant directly, and they resubmitted my order on schedule. They also provided the perfect amount of sauces and utensils. I will certainly return to this place in the future.
I’ve ordered delivery from this specific restaurant when I want Hawaiian comfort food plenty of times during the pandemic, however the last time I received my order it was almost inedible. The rice was undercooked. I don’t know how that could be possible. I won’t be ordering again in the future Reserva una mesa ahora
Inexpensive, cheerful, and mouthwatering! I tried the chicken katsu and BBQ burger, and both were incredibly flavorful. The staff was also quite friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The chicken was extremely overcooked. I have visited this restaurant a few times and it does not live up to the standards of the nearby L & L locations in Millbrae and San Bruno.
Ordered through Uber eats and just wish they put more food like the other locations. Felt like my plate was much smaller than when I go to Millbrae or Redwood City.
Never pick up their phone, said we were gonna call back in a min and never picked up it?s been 15 mins and I?m still calling Reserva una mesa ahora
Good food with decent prices. Inside is just a bit dirty and all over the place. Would recommend takeout
