The booking system was efficient and a credit card is not needed to secure a booking, which can be the case for some high-end restaurants. We arrived late but were seated without any fuss. The smoked duck and salmon starters were really good. The mains were good too but the portions were on the small side. We ordered the steak and ox cheek, but got a very small portion of the later. The lamb shoulder was good but like the other main dish we had to order a couple of sides to supplement the main dish. We finished the meal with a plate of Welsh cheeses and home made crackers. i ordered the shoulder lamb it was absolutely divine. so succulent and such a good size. such a range of flavours, clearly home grown veggies! so fresh, so lovely

Organic food, they grow a little bit sweet in their garden. I said I'm vegan at booking and had beautiful 4 pages meal
