We popped in for a hot lunch on a wet day. Although we requested to eat in, the hot food was served without cutlery to eat with. They offered to cut the food up which we declined and said they would bring a wooden fork to us that never materialised. We ended up taking the food home to eat there. Although they have tables to eat in they obviously don't expect them to be used for food orders.

Fancied a NY deli style sandwich which they had none of so when I asked they happily made me one fresh and OMG was it the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I travel an awful lot on business and I’m hardly local but this is somewhere I’d come back to regularly. Amazing staff, amazing food and all round No.1 bakery

A great variety of bread and other goodies. They have sandwiches, quiches, filled croissants and fresh coffee to take away. Lovely staff too!
