I had a wonderful experience on August 27, 2023, enjoying a mocktail while listening to the incredible saxophonist Eddie Baccus Jr. Steve, our bartender, was fantastic and created a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone around seemed to be having a fantastic time, and the place wasn’t crowded at all. I initially heard the saxophonist from another part of MGM, and his rich tones pulled me to the upper level at the Lobby Bar. I’m so glad I decided to stop by! The musician was outstanding, the sound was wonderful, and his repertoire was impressive!
The bar staff was very friendly, but it was disappointing to find that they were out of the spirits needed for two of their signature cocktails. If they’re not available, why have them on the menu? I ended up choosing an old fashioned, which turned out to be overly sweet. It also struck me as odd that I was handed the check without anyone asking if I wanted anything else. The ambiance is pleasant, as long as there isn’t any live music. The saxophonist is talented, but the volume was so high that it made my ears hurt.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing, although it could get a bit loud and lively during live music performances. I visited on a hot afternoon and had a hankering for a rum drink. The bartender suggested a Bahama Mama, and it turned out to be the best I’ve ever had—better than any I’ve tried in New Orleans. I must have really needed it! Thank you, Phillip, for making such a fantastic drink.
I absolutely love everything about this bar! Whitley is one of the best around, and this weekend I discovered Nacim Ortiz, an unforgettable soul and pop singer who completely wowed the crowd! MGM, you need to book this incredible talent for a show! Get him before someone else does, and give him a regular spot!

Not just a bar, but a truly unforgettable experience! Marcus, Charlie, and Whitney are experts at what they do. This is a place you have to visit. No matter what you enjoy, they’ll impress you with their artistic talents. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
Food was not as tasty as experienced on previous visits. Chicken wings were tough and undercooked, chili cheese fries were covered in cheese sauce that tasted slightly rancid.
Whitley is the best bartender! She is absolutely amazing and made my mothers 50. Birthday to remember a true night
Has live music, open Friday thru Sundays, dress code is casual, and is located on 2nd level of main atrium lobby.

This is a sports bar 21 and up. Loud and fun ...great for friends not families.
