After the visit of October I wanted to resound the experience as it had been suggested to me, avoiding Sunday noon with great affluence. On the evening of July, I decided to introduce the restaurant to guests. I had a bad idea. reservation for 4 people. the terrace was almost full, the inside almost empty. We're told to go inside and we'll be followed to settle. We wait in front of the bar, after a little while another person gives us the choice between 2 tables. we settle and wait again to order the aperitif. We enjoyed lunch here on a hot summer day. The terrace was packed, so we were happy to have made reservations beforehand. It was very hot, but the umbrella's weren't big enough to ensure everybody could eat in the shade. I guess it's worth while...to invest in bigger and better umbrella's to shield their customers from the sun. The staff is very friendly and insisted on speaking English with us although our French was way better than their English. But it is a nice gesture to try and accommodate your clients. a little hesitant because of the negative avi on the slowness of the service, we went there next to a superb night in a neighbouring yurt (see comment elsewhere) and before leaving to bet. friendly staff, fast service, quality dishes, very good fries, excellent blueberry pie. high addition but 1200m and no running water and 30 minutes from Geneva....The view is superb and the location is great. located on the top of the spit. a beautiful view, on one side on the white mountain, on the other on the jura. There are people so I would advise to book the weekend and when it looks good. the vegetarian burger is very good and hearty (servi with homemade fries) the staff was very nice the decoration is very typical ( cottage atmosphere)
We arrived at on Sunday, and we were told to come back minutes later as the restaurant was full. We came back at It took about minutes to be led to a table and given a menu. When they came back...to take the order, we were told that kitchen was closed. It was disappointing to say the least.
