A much awaited team outing resulted in us gathering for a team dinner at Locanda Ravello. The team had arrived earlier at the spot and I was a bit late since it was quite a drive for me from San Jose all the way to Danville though one that I could do over and over given the food you are going to experience there is phenomenal) . Happened to reach just in time while the dinner orders were being placed and we ordered an eggplant parmigiana, pollo parmiggiana, 7 orders of Branzino tasted fresh and awesome) , rigatoni siciliana and I placed a to go order for ravioli lobster and a canoli. came here for dinner without reservation. Inside was quite busy, so we got the opportunity to sit outside under the open air tents and heating. It was quite windy, but with warm jackets and hot water we made it. The app-bread was soft and tasty. The bowl in which it came made it difficult to get into the Vinaiigrette, but still tasty. The Calamari also had a surprisingly good taste and texture, but it came from Lukewarm, which the wind out accelerated things. We both ordered the special of the day. He loved it. Food was good basic Italian...one of our plates came out cold. Our waiter handled the unfortunate situation with aplomb. The owner brought out another that was hot and delicious. Service was 5 star. But still for creating I would rate it 3.5 -4.

If you’re looking for delicious pastas dishes you have to come here! I love the carbonara and gnocchi, but the pizza is also delicious! I love sitting on the patio with one of their refreshing cocktails!
