Locust Avenue Deli has undergone a remarkable transformation since I started working in the area. The recent remodel seems to have made all the difference; while the subs were never bad before, walking inside felt more like an Indiana Jones adventure—less thrilling and a bit more unkempt. Now, however, the place looks fantastic, the food is appealing, and the sandwiches are excellent. The service is also commendable. I haven't tried their hot foods and probably won't, but I can confidently say this is the best deli in the area, surpassing Cookys in both price and quality (though I can't comment on the daily hot options). This deli offers fresh and delicious food! It has recently undergone a complete renovation and looks absolutely stunning. The staff is amazing, and there's always hot, fresh food available at the steam table. They've even updated their menu, and I love trying all the new options. The Asian chicken is particularly tasty! Definitely check this place out; I’m sure you’ll be satisfied!
I order from here every week, if not several times a week, and I've had it delivered through their website. Thank goodness they're finally on this platform! There are many delis within a 5-mile radius, but Locust is definitely the best one! Don't miss out on their heroes or the Church Street breakfast wrap; it's the perfect remedy for a hangover!
The prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's definitely worth it. They are generous with the ingredients, which I really appreciate. My only minor complaint is the way they wrapped the food; instead of using foil to keep it warm, they opted for parchment paper, which was a bit messy to remove. Other than that, the food was fantastic!

Wonderful. I've had food catered by this deli for a summer party. The potato salad is delicious. My favorite was the eggplant rollatini. I've also gotten salads from this place that were so fresh. They particularly specialize in Italian food. I am using them to cater my next party and I live quite a ways from Bohemia. Highly recommend.
This is my favorite deli! The food is consistently amazing and fresh. However, I did have an issue this time—I ordered an eggplant wrap but received a chicken parm hero in the bag instead.
