For food presentation and ingredients, see pictures. The cassoulet had a good combination of beans, duck leg, duck fat, pork sausage, chunks of marbled pork. The stew had just the right quantity of liquids and solids: good for dipping bread or spreading onto some other staples (e.g. rice, mashed potatoes, polenta, peas or any bite-sized vegetables, maybe even cassava fufu or the very solid deep-frying grade tofu) if the cassoulet is shared between several people. The portion size may be a little too large for single or duo diners if they order other things in addition to the cassoulet -- best to come hungry and not order other foods until well into the meal. Good portion size too for about 1...

Consigliatoci dall'albergatore ha soddisfatto ampiamente le aspettative. Locale piccolo e molto spartano con pochi tavoli ed in certi periodi prenotazione consigliata. Nel centro di Carcassonne (non nella cité mediavale) é di proprietà di due gentili signore francesi molto cordiali ed alla mano. Ci era stato segnalato per il miglior Cassoulet della città e debbo dire che mi sento di confermare in pieno. Tenendo conto che a inizio agosto a Carcassonne c'erano più di 35 gradi e il cassoulet è cotto su forno a legna, a vista nel locale, si è trattato di impresa quasi epica. Rapporto qualitá prezzo molto buono.Andateci!
This restaurant is a little tucked away but it is a great fine. The menu isn't huge but offers wonderful char grilled meats on an open barbecue and very tasty sides to go with them. The desserts were delicious as well. This is just lovely, tasty , well cooked food at a very reasonable price. We love it here! Thank you ladies !

"Had a salad for starter which was fantastic and well presented. Lamb shanks for mains, again brilliant and tender with plenty of meat on the bone. Would highly recommend."
