I had called up to reserve, since we were a group of 7, but they said they didn’t take reservations, so we just showed up. We arrived at 10:20, and found 2 empty tables each for 6 people. However, we were told there was no room. When I pointed out the 2 tables, they said people were coming at 10:30 (!) I said I had called to reserve and was told they don’t take reservations. The man then said it was private, some friends or family (not sure which). Not a very good way to treat customers! I have been to this resto many times and I know the schedule, including 3 pm closing on Saturday. Today I went with my son at 2 pm to find the door locked, with people eating inside. There was a holiday schedule posted, but it did not mention any special hours for 31 December, i.e normal hours applied. Eventually someone came to the door and said the restaurant was closed. I pointed to the sign that said closing was at 3 pm and he said "there are not enough customers, we are closing." That's what I call **** service!

My first impression was, wow, they have a lot of waiting staff hereBut it soon become apparent why as this is clearly a popular place to get your food onTypical of what we've been experiencing in North America - food portions are hugeWith a great variety on the menu, with a heavy emphasis on sweet treats, it's great tasting and served with an efficient smile

Have been there before, another location; I hadn't been impressed. This time at this Somerled location, the staff was very courteous and friendly. The place was full and I explored the menu more. I found that while they had standard breakfast items, they managed to vary both ingredients and presentation to make it interesting, innovative. Reserva una mesa ahora

We enjoyed smoothies, fresh juices, hot coffees, a three cheese omelette with home fries (delish) and a selection which included French toast and bacon. The food was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. A good breakfast place with a huge selection of appetizing plates. Will have to return to try other stuff.

A small restaurant on Somerled part of the well known Montreal chain.We both had the lunch special: pea soup with vegetables , tomato and avocado omelet ,with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad.These were excellent with non stop coffee and super service. Each dish was $10.95 , great value.Parking on the street.

The funny name card is very provided. The trend is on eggs. the omelettes are very good, their accompaniment of peeled potatoes is rich but very good. There is a good choice of fresh juice and smoothies. The service is irregular. it is sometimes very slow and sometimes very fast, but always pleasant.

we have been regular customers of l'oeufrier. We typically go on Sundays and its always packed. The owners are very nice and committed to the best service.

A lovely brunch with ample food, nicely prepared and presented. More fruit could be included. Service was quick and attentive.
