They have a great vegan menu with a good variety of dishes and different cuisines. We ordered the wild mushrooms on focaccia, bbq cauliflower and pitted olives for starters. We were having a tough day filled with rain and family stress, and our hungry bellies were adding to the frustrations. However, when we walked into Lok's, we found a little oasis of calm where we were well taken care of. Our Tuesday took a turn for the better as all four of us left with clean plates, including our picky kids who were full and satisfied. The staff was attentive but not overly so, providing a bit of low-key nurturing that made our experience much more pleasant. The food was of good quality and the atmosphere was cozy. I had visited this restaurant, located in the old Pollok Juniors Social Club building, in the past before attending a game next door. Upon my first visit after it transformed into a restaurant, I was quite impressed. I arrived on a Wednesday at 4:30pm and noticed that only two other tables were occupied during my visit, so I cannot comment on how the service may be during busier times. Although the exterior may not be appealing, it was a pleasant surprise once we stepped inside. The interior was spacious and charming, with a friendly staff and mouth-watering food. The burgers, beef, and chicken were fantastic, and the menu had a great variety at reasonable prices. Despite the bustling atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon, I am eager to return on a quieter day. Overall, a job well done by all those involved.

Booked in last minute for a Sunday roast. We were not disappointed. Had salt and pepper chicken starter, cooked in light crumbed batter, chicken was succulent and tasty. Followed up with the Roast Beef, cooked to perfection and followed by Cranach cheesecake, thoroughly enjoyed all my courses. Served by gentleman with a pony tail who was friendly, professional and attentive. Will be back for sure!
Back to Loks after a funeral. The choice was soup and steak pie /salmon. I had the steak pie and thought the meat and vegetables were teriffic. Still a bite to the green beans, carrots and cauliflower great. I also heard that the salmon was very good as well. The function suite has its own bar, staff and will accommodate 100 plus. There would be about 50/60 there.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Lok’s this afternoon. The roast beef was super tender and had a Yorkshire pudding the size of your head! Great service. All the staff were very kind and patient with my autistic brother he was most excited by the dark chocolate brownie pictured and who can blame him! Thanks to everyone for a great meal, we’ll be back soon.
