Absolutely excellent! I’ve been to many restaurants all over New York. Lola’s ranks with the best of them. I had grilled Octopus as an opener. It was grilled perfectly with a cannellini bean sauce. Delicious! I could taste every flavor individually and collectively. Lemon, cilantro, pepper. Served with homemade pita bread warm and fluffy. You know this was homemade. My entree was a Cod dish. Won’t return — very uncomfortable seats — what the hell! They’re more than half empty. My back hurts. This Mediterranean restaurant has been opened for a while. Eggplant — very good, served in a chipped bowl Chickpea fritter — great Octopus — ok Artichoke Malawach — pizzaish: topping is good, crust is sweet. Street parking.
Such a delicious meal with an excellent dining experience. Every dish was bright and worked well with each other all while being unique in flavor. Taste fatigue was not a problem at this restaurant. Highly suggest you share multiple dishes to get the most for your money.
Great way to spend a quiet anniversary dinner. Great with food allergies and excellent for vegetarians. Definitely will return. If you can ask for Lauren to be your server do so as she goes out of her way to make sure you have a great experience.

Just read sad news today. Michael Ginor, a highly regarded chef and owner of Lola in Great Neck, died of a heart attack in Israel over the weekend participating in an triathlon. Rest in Peace Michael. We won’t forget you.
Some dishes were great and some not. Foie Gras was dry. The duck app was actually literally pizza with tiny bits of duck. Bronzino was cooked well but very bland. Cauliflower salad was great. Fritters were good.
Delicious food. Great service. Cozy ambience Loved, loved, loved the Banaganush and foie gra!!!!! Please order these 2 dishes and you won't believe how tasty it is!!
The hummus with shawarma and lamb kefta were excellent and the baked Alaska didn't disappoint either. Really impressed with the quality and presentation here.

The food at this place was amazing. The two dishes I tried were very well cooked, presented and most of all great concept.
