Wow, what an experience! This was probably one of the worse meals I have ever had the miss fortune to try and eat! Firstly, I would like to say, yes, great value for money meal deals and yes, the front of house staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, you have to be able to eat the food. Had an absolutely shocking experience on Saturday 20th Aug 22. We was a table of 8 who had arranged a long over due family meal. We had pre booked so they were expecting us. They were clearly under staffed and under chefed however no one told us this when we booked. When we arrived there was a limited menu which we were not pre informed about, with VERY limited options. we all ordered and paid for our meals in pairs and told the lady taking the order we were all on the same table and our meals was to all come out together. Looks lovely from the outside, but then me and my family (including three young kids) went inside for an early dinner and it all went down hill from there! Took ages to order our drinks and then they all came at different times. My wife’s starter came out with the mains with no apology, my ‘medium’ steak was burnt to a crisp and all through this we had to contend with bored looking staff who made no effort to make us feel welcome. The final parting gift was a used nappy my wife found on the floor in the ladies. Went for a quick drink with our young child and was told in quite an unfriendly and sullen manner to leave the area we were standing in and sit in the other side of the pub. Didn’t see any signs stating this. Seems like a family friendly pub from the outside but isn’t really. A friendly smile doesn’t cost the earth, guys. Won’t go again.

Sunday lunch. Vegetables were not cooked enough. Good service and range of beers, especially non or low alcohol. Clean and welcoming. Overpriced for the quality provided. I would go back but make sure these matters were discussed before ordering.
Lovely visit,good food. Made to feel welcome. we had no issues with any thing on our visit Staff work extremely hard to see to our need. We do feel that they were under staffed only 2 on the floor . We have used them before and will again.
Food was lovely, lots of variety on the menu which is always good when dining out as a larger group. The ginger lady that served us was amazing, couldn’t be helpful enough.
Great experience here today. I took my team out for a work lunch and the food was lovely. Staff were polite and friendly. We will definitely be coming here again.
