This restaurant is like a more affordable version of Din Tai Fung. They offer a variety of dishes similar to what DTF has. I first heard about this place on Mike Chan's YouTube channel, where he raved about their huge xiao long bao. My wife and I decided to try it out today (5/19/2022) and Mike Chan was right - the xiao long bao here is just as good as DTF. The skin of the xlb tasted exactly the same as DTF. They also serve potstickers and scallion pancakes, but the star of the show is definitely their huge xiao long bao. It's about 9 inches in size, filled with delicious fillings, and steamed to perfection in a bamboo steam. The recommended way to enjoy it is to drink the soup inside first...

this is my way for xiao long bao in the sgw and I was at the usual suspects in the opposite as mama lu’s and din tai fung. it is an inconceivable restaurant in the 2nd stage of a lively strip-mask. the interieur is equipped with a lot of seating. in the corner there is a window where you can see sweet old Asian ladies make xiao long bao. the service is okay. but let's see it, you're not here for the service, they're here for this juicy, soupic dumpling called xiao long baos. I always get the pork shrimp xlb and the crab pork xlb. uoh and the pork crab bun. the juice and the crab from a great straw to swallow is my favorite part. it seems to be funny at first, but if you taste it, you don't g...

The noodles at this restaurant are excellent. The Shanghai xiaolongbao is a unique combination of pork and crab, giving it a distinct taste that I really enjoyed. The standout feature of this dish is the delicate, thin skin that is unlike any other I've had in the country. It's so delicate that I couldn't resist ordering more. The large soup dumplings are a fun novelty, although a bit tricky to eat without spilling the soup. The spicy fish in red soup sauce had a great kick to it and the tofu dishes with edamame beans were also delicious. While I may not know all the names of the dishes, the pictures on the menu are helpful. My grandmother, who grew up in Shanghai, used to order all these di...

Note that the English signage at this location reads ‘#1 juicy dumplings’ and the location is on the second floor of the plaza. While the other dishes might be tempting stick to the dumplings that’s where this restaurant really shines. Our favorites were the giant pork and crab soup dumpling and the pork and shrimp soup dumpling (normal sized). The soup was flavorful, the meat was well seasoned and the flavors played well with each other. There was even an entire shrimp at the bottom of the pork and shrimp dumpling which made it feel luxurious. Reserva una mesa ahora

The xiao long bao at this restaurant are better than Din Tai Fung! The food is fresh and delicious, although the service could be improved. The Wuxi spare ribs are tasty but a bit sweet, and the xiao long bao are outstanding. The hot and sour soup is also delicious. The fish dish is not the best, but the spicy beef vermicelli soup has a strong mala flavor. Focus on the noodles, shrimp fried rice, and hot and sour soup for a satisfying meal.

Had a blast eating here. Have eaten good Asian food elsewhere too but this was amazing! We ordered a lot of food between 2 people but we finished it, ha!Clean and nice place. We didn’t have to wait too long for the table. There were people in and out.Quick service! Good food! What else can one ask for!

Didn’t know I will need to wait 1 hour in noon even weekdays. I think food is good but the waiter who is packing the to-go food throw our plate on the table.
