Longhorn Steakhouse

Visited this place to celebrate a birthday and the experience left a bitter taste in our mouths. When we got the bill we noticed a 'scan to pay ' feature so we scanned to our phone and paid. On leaving I was aggressively accosted by our server who demanded 'you gotta pay ' , and 'you need to leave a card or something ' all in full view of everyone. The server did not ask if we already paid, or even check to see if this could be a misunderstanding. It was so embarrassing. We were shocked. And there was no apology when I explained that we used the scan to pay feature. Why offer a feature if none of your staff knows about it? Or at least teach then how to clarify if the person sauntering out has paid vs is trying to run without paying. We won 't return of course.

Excellent, great value and wonderful service. Stopped in for lunch by my lonesome and was happy I did. I started with a very generous portion of loaded potato soup, really good. They also brought out a loaf of bread with butter, was a huge portion, served warm and really very good. I got the Maverick Ribeye Sandwich which was served on toasted bread with swiss cheese and onions. It was really excellent!! The french fries were super tasty with just the right amount of seasoning. The interior of the restaurant was really big and they also had a smallish bar. I know the restaurant is part of a chain but I was pleasantly surprised! Definitely will be back, this time with a date!

You make good margaritas when you pay extra for the upper shelf Tequila. Long casting is a good value. Cowboy cut rib eye is the best steak on the menu. We paid a small charge to update the side salad on the strawberry and pecan salad. The salad was good in the past. Last time the salads were smaller. Still good, but not as good as it was. Could be due to a lack of personnel which are still widespread today.

Very clean restaurant and nice staff. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye Steak. It was very juicy, delicate and tasteful. Because it was a chain restaurant that Steak was delicious and exceeded my expectations. In any case more often!

Longhorn Steakhouse is a solid place for a filling meal, friendly service and some of the best steaks you will find in any chain restaurant.
