The place was very nice and felt fancy. They had plenty of parking! The food was okay though as well as some of the cutlery were dirty. Some dishes were either bland or really salty, like the dao miao (stir fried pea shoots w garlic) we got. We got a salted egg version of the king crab and it was different, but nothing special. The clams were my favorite as it was the perfect amount of flavor and very clean. The vermicelli with the king crab was a nice touch. I liked it more than the crab itself. I'm still searching for our family go to dim sum and was hopeful Longo would work. Invited two friends to join our little family of three and ordered the standard favorites, chicken feet, siumai, and har gow and everything was good, no issues. Nice sizes, tasty items...until we got raw cold shrimp inside of a black colored seafood dumpling. I bit into the dumpling and saw gray shrimp my dear friend is pregnant so we were concerned for her and luckily I caught it before she ate the dumpling. The food has really gone downhill, or maybe it's just me and my changing tastes. I used to visit this restaurant almost every week because I loved their dishes, but today I waited over an hour for a to-go order that only had four items, two of which were duplicates, and it came in terrible packaging. The staff at the front desk were also very unhelpful; when I told her I was only ordering two items, she suggested I go next door, and when I returned to place my order because I didn't have cash, she responded with a dismissive "Oh, you don’t even have cash?" I usually enjoy dining at this restaurant because the food is delicious and the portions are generous, perfect for sharing with a group. However, today I didn’t have time to eat in, so I opted for takeout. I was very disappointed. Each dish had only half the amount I typically expect, and the soup came in a tiny plastic container—it was clear there wasn’t much there. I’m beginning to wonder if prices have gone up, as I used to comfortably order two bowls of soup for $20 when dining in. Normally, these meals are substantial and satisfying, suitable for seven or eight people, but today we only got enough for two or three bowls. Arrived monday afternoon for a filling lunch after a long weekend. The place was beautiful on the inside and has a parking lot in the back on the outside which was conviennent. We had a large group so got quiet a few things. Some of them include: chicken feet, shumai dumpling , bamboo charcoal egg yol,k bun, eggplant, congee, shrimp and beef rice rolls! Everything was delicious and the service was extremely quick and friendly and they checked in on us and refilled our drinks. Their dishes were flavorful and came out quickly and hot! Will definitely be back next time we're in LA!

We got here at 9:45am and waited in line. Longo open at 10am. We were 3rd person in line for party of 11. And the waitress Wendy make us wait while she let everyone in. After everyone came in. I went to the manager and ask why we didn't get seated. Then the manager took us to our table. Wendy need more training?? How can you not let a big party get seated?? The restroom is dirty and out of paper and stink at 10am, HOW!! Thanks for your not so wonderful service. Looks like I won't back.

I tried the dim sum here, and while it was a bit better in quality than the nearby Monterey Palace, some of the dishes were quite bland. It was also very expensive. The service wasn't great either; the waitstaff were neither attentive nor friendly. Plus, I couldn't help but notice the giant TV screen showing large, unappealing images of people eating. Is that meant to encourage customers to order more food? It was definitely a strange addition to the dining experience.

King crab is in season and it's super cheap. Best place for birthdays and weddings. Tonight there was a party for a 100 year old birthday... happy birthday to her. WE had our private room for our good friend's birthday dinner and we ordered all the food we liked and had jumbo clam sashimi. Yum ...

The dim sum at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, particularly the Har Gow and Shiu Mai. The service is excellent as well!
