Where should we go eat? Lonzo's! This place has been my go to Peruvian spot for years. It has that mom and pop charm and while you won't read about it on all the blogs, it's well worth the visit. Just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, seating is limited. Your meal starts with the classic bread and aji which is spicy but addicting. You'll want to put it on everything. The must order at Lonzo's are the Lomo Saltado and the Peruvian Pesto Pasta. We did the filet mignon for both and shared. There's plenty of flavor in the Lomo and just throw on some aji sauce and enjoy. The Peruvian Pesto Pasta had tender meat and saucy pasta. It has a deep pesto flavor that's not like your typical It...

The complimentary bread and aji sauce were a delightful start, and I would rate them 9/10. The mixed ceviche deserves an 8/10—it was delicious and perfect for sharing. It included squid (my least favorite), mussels, fish, shrimp, one large scallop, and two fried whole prawns. It was garnished with plenty of sliced red onions, which is a nice change from the traditional salsa criolla, along with large Inca corn, fried corn kernels, and two thick slices of sweet potato. The ceviche paired incredibly well with the aji verde sauce. All the seafood was fresh, and the leche de tigre was bursting with flavor! The plantains were delightful, and the accompanying dip made them even better. I would d...

The arroz con mariscos featured seafood rice packed with squid, clams, scallops, mussels, and shrimp, all enriched with an aji amarillo reduction, white wine, carrots, and topped with parmesan cheese. The seafood was exceptionally fresh and expertly prepared. Although the restaurant has a simple decor highlighted by a beautiful painting in one corner, the culinary skills on display rival those of fine dining establishments. Additionally, the prices for the dishes were quite reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and portion sizes. Our waitress was friendly and laid-back, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the food truly takes center stage here! Just a heads up: if...

**Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Range:** $20–30 per person **Food:** ★★★★★ **Service:** ★★★★★ **Atmosphere:** ★★★ I had a delightful dinner experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, earning a solid five stars. The Ceviche Mixto was particularly impressive with its fresh flavors, and the Saltados were equally delicious. The service was top-notch, making sure our needs were met promptly and with a friendly demeanor. However, the atmosphere was a bit average, which is why I rated it three stars. Overall, I highly recommend trying the Ceviche Mixto and Saltados if you get the chance! Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I enjoyed our meal at Lonzo's Restaurant! We shared two excellent dishes and each dish was freshly prepared: seafood rice with squid, clams, scallops, mussels, shrimp in aji Amarillo reduction, white wine, carrots, peas, Parmesan cheese, and spot prawn. And the other dish was roasted branzino with roasted vegetables, chimichurri, aji Amarillo butter, yucca, chalaca. The staff was very efficient and fast. The restaurant is a family-run establishment. Just be prepared to pay in cash if you're not a fan of paying a surcharge for credit cards.

Real food, delicious, generous portion. Ambiance was warm and inviting felt like I was invited to someone's house for home cooked ethnic food. If you want fancy, stuffy pretentious don't come here. If you want to relax and feel welcome you won't regret it

I am obsessed with this place, it has the best ceviche in all of LA. They use extremely fresh ingredients and are not skimpy with the amount they serve. We always grab one for each of us as an appetizer as they are too good to share! Haha

I enjoyed a delicious array of dishes, beginning with the scallops, followed by the fish ceviche, and concluding with the lomo saltado. The juice was also fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Reserva una mesa ahora

Best Peruvian lomo saltado I've had in Los Angeles's. Hands down. The ceviche was also delicious. Small hole in the wall but the food is amazing. Better than Mario's.
