half an hour waiting for us to come and take our order and then another hour of extra waiting while we ordered 2 pizzas and 1 child menu. We were ready to leave when we were finally served. What a disappointment! all this waiting for this: very average pizzas whose dough was poorly cooked and the very basic and canned ingredients. no fresh product. the bolognas of our son were served unsalted and with a cold sauce. Last surprise at the time of the check: I was asked for my table number that I indicated and I was paid an addition that had nothing to do with our order. small restaurant located close to the villandry castle. I stopped here for convenience. After seeing the list of menus, I had the impression, confirmed during the lunch, of being only a tourist to whom to "get" as much as possible. The quality of the pizza was certainly not excellent, unlike the addition that was rather salty. What to add? I think the photo I made is enough to describe the restaurant. location is the real plus that managers can offer. Just two steps from the castle, and that makes the difference. If I had to go back there one day, I wouldn't despair, but if I had another choice, I wouldn't sit at those tables. sufficient judgment, but no more.
bad experience in villandry! wait 2 hours before being served a salad with rotten lettuce, absent sauce but as for it happens after many reclammations it is a horrible, gluing salty sweet sauce. Insane pizza, very nice but overflowed waitresses, not professional! we are told that this is exceptional, the leader didn't come to work!!! we doubt it! We got a commercial move, but we'd have preferred to eat properly. short! to avoid to keep a bad memory of villandry because the castle is beautiful.
no welcome any kindness, an endless waiting (we had to claim the map and a water carafe after 30 minutes waiting ) and the restaurant was not complete ... the oil pimented with pizza in bag. a commercial gesture granted but that will not suffice to make us come back.a restaurant that is not up to the charm of villandry.

pizza was soaked at the bottom and the bologna had too little sauce, too little flavor and too little salt. Cheap drinks. it takes advantage of the location, but choose one of the neighbors. the service was fluid and friendly.
a very pleasant evening spent here, sitting on the sidewalk near the castle, we had a light and tasty pizza, with a salad of accompaniment and very good local wine. the service was friendly and relaxed. I'll be back.
