The vegetables were partly very hot and partly cold- not the famous French cuisine we‘d expected. The meat however was very nice. The apple tart for dessert was also quite nice. We were the only guests, however, in the beginning, we got the impression, we were disturbing the patrons hope for a free evening. When he‘d realized, we would remain the only guest and an early night was in sight, he became more friendly and even showed some humour.
A group of 10 arrived for lunch after a visit to the castle of Villandry. The waitress was so helpful and friendly and managed to fit us in. She spoke some English so was able to explain the dishes to us. Everyone enjoyed their meal, especially the Oceanic Salade and the Carbonara Pàtes.The plat du jour was excellent quality for the price.
We arrived at the end of February, we had a very good reception and the service was top, we ate very well, a pity that he has no choice at the level of the dishes even if it is a pizzeria. In any case, we spent a very good time with this chimney thank you to the server too that did a great job.
