What a great place. I was looking for a good carne asada steak and stumbled across Los 3 Gallos . Not only has the steak absolutely delicious but so were the drinks and the service. We were served by Yessenia and it was a pleasure talking to her. She was attentive and explained each drink and menu item to us. This place is family run and you can see they take pride in their items. Now as for the food. The carne asada is great. It 's juicy and flavorful and the color is appetizing. I stumbled upon this place after going to the nail shop a few doors down. I was hungry and decided to go in because I wanted to eat ASAP. Let me tell you I was taken by surprise how delicious the food is! I had tacos de asada and de birria and it was absolutely delicious. They make their own salsa (dark red, Chile macho) which is what made the tacos even better. Their pina colada and micheladas were delicious as well and the hospitality from the owner and his wife was amazing. 10/10 a must try.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The food was terrible and the service was nonexistent. I ordered quesabirria with consome and received a bowl of warm liquid with some seasoning salt. For my kids, I got four awful chicken nuggets and burnt fries. It was an overall disappointing experience.
Please tell me they’re reopening at some point.Hands down the best quesabirria in Chicago.Not to mention their black salsa… one of the best salsas I’ve had in my life.If anyone has any details on this place or if they have a store somewhere else, please let me know.

We were served spoiled hot sauce. The menu was misleading, and the waitress failed to inform us that the actual offerings were different from what was listed. Overall, it was quite pricey given the quality of the food.
Yo!! People are snoozing on this place if you live around Melrose Park I definitely recommend you guys try this place! The Quesa birria tacos with it’s consomé are fire ???
Fantastic service and outstanding tacos de birria! The broth was perfect. There were so many delicious flavors. You should definitely try this place!
