The fajitas arrived quickly and were just average. However, the chips and salsa that I had paid extra for were not brought to us. I had to go inside to ask for them, and when they were finally delivered, there was no real response or apology from the server. On the plus side, both the chips and salsa were good. Unfortunately, our server never returned to our table, and another staff member was sent over to bring the check.
In summary, the food was average, the service was poor, and the margaritas were disgustingly overpriced. Honestly, they could have gone to the Safeway next door, bought some mix and a shot of tequila, and it would have been a better experience. I recommend avoiding this p...
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I waited 15 minutes before anyone came to seat me, despite being the only one waiting and the restaurant not being full. After that, I felt forgotten—nobody asked if I wanted a drink or anything. I planned to order takeout, but they were out of steak and carnitas, which is surprising for a Mexican restaurant. This was at 5:30 PM, well before closing time. The communication was poor, and it felt as though they only focused on serving large parties. As a solo diner, I received subpar customer service.
I discovered this hidden gem while visiting Safeway in the same shopping center. I noticed several people enjoying their meals, which caught my attention. I'm really happy we decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered the carne asada, accompanied by rice, beans, tortillas, and a michelada. The steak was cooked just right, and everything on the plate was incredibly tasty. I especially loved the michelada. There’s ample seating both indoors and outdoors.
I've eaten here before and the service was fantastic with a middle-aged gentleman serving us. I don't think he was the owner, but definitely made sure we were taken care of. But this time, two kids were working there I had to wait to get greeted, service was slow, nobody asked how my food was, and nobody thanked me. Not sure if they changed ownership, but the service was lack luster.Fortunately the food was good.

The food was acceptable, but the service left much to be desired. There were only three tables occupied during the late evening, yet the waiter barely attended to us. We noticed him sitting behind the bar, engrossed in his phone. It took an eternity to receive the bill. I won’t be returning. Food rating: 3/5.

Our group ordered tacos and burritos. The burritos were enormous, and I wasn't able to finish mine. We really enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent! Overall, I'd rate the food a 5 out of 5.
Amazing food. Amazing people. Amazing music. Best Mexican restaurant in Tahoe. Amazing ambiance, delicious food and cocktails, an oasis in this chilly climate.

The bartender was very friendly and worked hard, juggling both serving and bartending duties. However, the food didn't meet my expectations.
Great food, awesome atmosphere. Very nice bar and a friendly staff. I will be back!
