My partner couldn't resist ordering the dedito de guayaba de queso, a fried rolled pastry filled with cheese and guava jam. They also opted for the regular hot dog, which is far from ordinary. This hot dog comes loaded with mozzarella, bacon bits, crushed potato chips, a quail egg, pink pineapple, and Los Verdes sauce, all served on a large bun. It was accompanied by coleslaw, and they finished every bite, giving it a big thumbs up.
I chose coffee over soda, tropical juices, or milkshakes. It was tough to decide, but I finally went with the choriperro because I love chorizo. The choriperro features chorizo alongside the usual hot dog toppings, and I really enjoyed it.

I recently sampled a Colombian-style hot dog at Los Verdes in Sunnyside. While this popular chain is well-established in southern Florida, it has only one spot in New York City. Alongside hot dogs, they serve Colombian favorites like arepas and Venezuelan specialties such as patacón sandwiches and cachapas. The hot dog I had was topped with mozzarella cheese, bacon, crushed potato chips, and a quail egg. It was incredibly satisfying and surpassed my expectations compared to the iconic NYC hot dogs. After four years of being a loyal customer, I’m disappointed to see that the quality has significantly declined. The food I had yesterday was terrible; the fries were stale and tasted like they came from a frozen package, and the meat had a different flavor than before. I had given them a five-star rating in the past, but it seems that this place is heading in the wrong direction. I won’t be ordering again, as I’ve experienced repeated quality issues with my food.
This week, I visited the restaurant and was very impressed with the quality of the food. The waiter, Fabián, brought great energy and his kindness towards customers truly stood out—it’s definitely something worth acknowledging at this place! Thank you for the wonderful experience at Los Verdes New York. I would rate the service a solid 10/10 and highly recommend it!

The restaurant has a good number of tables, and the waitstaff is attentive. The strawberry shake is rich, almost to the point of being not too sweet. The corn dish is delicious and suitable for someone with a light appetite. The arepa with shredded beef may appear a bit small, but it packs a great flavor and a generous portion of meat.

The food is super delicious but the issue is that they must improve the packaging with which they serve the food. Everything stays stuck to the paper with which the food is wrapped, look for other alternatives. Very good attention.
Me gusta mucho el sabor colombiano, aunque algunos de sus cajeros y meseros no se coordinan muy bien en las órdenes . Sin embargo es un gran lugar para disfrutar comida rápida Colombiana.
