Lotus Indian Kitchen

I have booked for Sunday short for 25 people after a positive experience at the weekend. every dish I tried was amazing, the menu was easy to read, they had quality beer on the draught ie cobra and estrella and location scenery was very relaxing in the marina with plentiful parking. an Indian gloom I tried everything, but was pleasantly surprised by the secret twist to the aromes I had never experienced. great service of callum and beth. nothing was too much annoyed, each request was filled with a smile and one yes I can what is especially commendable when there was a big party to keep happy. each person went with an unforgettable culinary experience.

I wanted to look at this place, and today we finally left. it wasn't disappointed. everything they served us was delicious. I don't even like mince sauce, but it was my favorite under the sauce in our starter. we ordered two foods, one from the street and one from the main menu and shared it. because of the part, they will not be too full and they will get to try more variety in food. I think a job is good for sharing two people. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return definitiw!

Great food! Lovely decor and friendly staff who need time to learn the menu. A couple of times we asked a question about the food and the staff could not answer, had to ask chef and even then came back with an response that didn’t really answer the question.! As a non meat eater I would have liked to know what the ingredients were. All in all... totally amazing food but more staff training required and less nail polish and false nails.

! comfortable the best Indian food I ever had the pleasure to eat, everywhere on the world. great atmosphere, friendly staff and very inexpensive. fresh, clean and modern environment with fantastic views over the water. not only their average curry house at a long shot; in any case they give it a jump. something for everyone on the menu. derby has luck to have lotus.

Discovered this gem whilst exploring the marina and returned to try the Indian. This is the best Indian we have found travelling the canals this summer, with a variety of different street food dishes we combined to form an interesting meal. The tamarind and chickpea balls and sticky chilli chicken were delicious. One of the dining highlights this summer tour.

sue, sheila and I visited last Tuesday morning. interesting concept “Street food”. all three of us enjoyed eating, setting and price(30% from to Friday). we will return to try some of the other menu items of the Indian Tapas.

Really enjoyed the Indian tapas concept. The food came out very quickly but was freshly cooked and every dish was so good. The staff couldn’t do enough to help out. Great atmosphere too. We will definitely be going back.

First visit very impressed with the service, food, friendliness of staff managers and general ambience. Sufficient menu to accommodate most be not extensive. Would recommend and will revisit soon.

decor is on point and eating is de-licious! such an amazing supplement to derby- there is no other place in the region that serves so food!
