Outstanding as always! We dined with another couple and started with the Wild Bills Cajun cheese and breadsticks. The breadsticks were delicious! The Cajun cheese was good, but could have used more spice. One of our friends ordered the portabella chicken wrap without the spicy sauce, which was good but would have been better with the sauce. His wife had the hot brown, which I will definitely be ordering next time as it was loaded with delicious cheese and bacon. My husband had the jambalaya and I had the chicken carbonara, both of which were excellent and generous portions. We even had leftovers for a midnight snack! We have dined at Lou Lou's in the past and once again it exceeded our expectations! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. One friend ordered the chicken pasta, another friend got the trio, and Michael, of course, opted for the steak. I decided to try the meatball sandwich with blue cheese coleslaw and a side salad. I didn't eat the bread, just the meatballs, and they were fantastic. The coleslaw was a tasty accompaniment and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. We finished off with two delicious crème brûlées. The manager always stops by the table to check on us, and the food is reasonably priced. Overall, a great dining experience at Lou Lou's!
The food was excellent in quality, but too skimpy in quantity to justify the high menu prices. Specifically, the Jambalaya was very scant in amount for $16. If I hadn't eaten several breadsticks (an order of which was also overpriced at $12), I would have still been quite hungry after my main course. We understand that establishments are in business to make money, but the lack of value will ultimately cause folks to look elsewhere for a nice meal out.
The hummus appetizer was tasty, but the grilled chicken was tough and lacked flavor. The Cajun waffle fries were also lacking in flavor and were dry and hard, almost like they were reheated from a package in a microwave. I've had great meals at Lou Lou in the past, but something went wrong last night. The service was attentive and perfect, but unfortunately, our server didn't ask how we liked our food.

Food quality and selection was very good. The venue was just a simple storefront style restaurant that was simply decorated and very light.
I’ve been here twice in the last week because it’s so good. Keep trying different things and haven’t had anything but deliciousness.
