The argument over what is the best Chicago deep dish pizza will last long after Keith Richards and the cockroaches have all died off. This is our favorite. Well, the thin crust, and the enduringly incomprehensible practice of cutting it in squares rather than pie slices is relatively consistent across all pizzerias, the deep dish here is unique, in large part because of the cornmeal crust, which is distinctive among the local pies. What an awful experience ordering from this location. We ordered 2 thin crust pizzas and chicken wings at 4:30 pm. Estimated arrival was 5:25. They encouraged using their tracking device for delivery. At 5:15 it said driver was 3 minutes away. Then it changed to 10. Then 11. Then 8. Then 6. Then 11. At 5:45 I called the restaurant. They said the driver was waiting for our pizza to be ready and it be his first delivery and we would have in 10 minutes. Once again the tracker said on its way. 8 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes, 0 minutes. Then went back to 10 minutes. At 6:15 I called the restaurant again. I had a disappointing experience at this Lou Malnati's location. The customer service was poor, and the staff members who tried to assist were quite rude. It would be beneficial to hire individuals who are more composed and mature. As for the food, the pizza was hard and not enjoyable. Overall, I would rate my experience as follows: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1. For takeout dinner, I spent around $20–30, but I would not recommend this place.

This place was lively last night, with a line of people waiting to get in. The staff at the counter were incredibly friendly. Just as we were about to leave after receiving our pizzas, Amy stopped us to remind us that we had forgotten our chicken wings. Her service was truly impressive. It’s important to acknowledge those who go the extra mile. The pizza and wings were delicious too!
Every time I visit Chicago, my son orders pizza from this place, and it is simply fantastic! We have enjoyed every pizza and salad we've tried here. I highly recommend making this a must-visit spot when you're in Chicago! Food: 5/5
