We stopped in for lunch. I had the soup and sandwich combo. The bowl of cream of broccoli soup was served at the perfect temperature and was very tasty! After, the half of a tuna sandwich was served. There was a good helping of tuna but I thought it was a little bland. Mr friend got a coney which was smothered in chili and chunky diced onions. She also got a grilled sandwich called Loui's Delight. It is similar to a Reuben but has coleslaw in place of kraut. It was very meaty. She took most of it with her. After spending some time driving around Detroit, looking for a good breakfast spot, we popped into Louise on our way home. What a great idea! We sat at the bar, and though we ordered simple food items (they actually killed it with the poach eggs A , what most impressed me was the efficiency of the staff, and the cleanliness of the place. When you sit at the bar, you can look into the kitchen and the back serving station. Everything is clean and I think Restaurant managers should come and take note.There is no need to have a dirty restaurant! We'll definitely be coming back again, and again! I ordered a meat lovers omelette but ended up with one that had bell peppers and onions, which I can't eat due to an allergy. Since I live too far away, I couldn't return it. I was really disappointed, especially because I spent a lot of money. This is not typical of Louie's, my favorite restaurant. They need to make improvements if they want to retain my business, especially with meals costing $35.
This place is high in price and the food is overrated. I asked for bacon on top of my chili cheese fries and they charged me $4.99 for a half order to be added to the fries. As you can see, it?s only a few pieces of bacon on my fries. Also, I asked formustard on my hamburger and there was no mustard. If you?re going to charge me an arm and a leg for bacon, at least get my orderright.

LET ME JUST SAY... they were FANTASTIC!! The guys were working down the street and we bought them lunch. They packed everything up and exactly how I asked on the phone. Labeled the boxes and wrapped in foil and just DELICIOUS! I used to work at one of the best corned beef restaurants in Sterling Heights ages ago, and I'm very picky when it comes to corned beef. This place is great!
Every time I visit Louie's Ham Corned Beef, I receive terrible service. I asked for butter on my pancake, and they said they don’t do that, yet they happily butter the toast without any issue. It’s quite confusing. Since it’s family-owned, it seems the women working there don’t want to be, as they often have a bad attitude and speak to customers disrespectfully.
1st time eating there and it was very good. The portions are really large, and the omlettes are even larger! Definitely enough food to fill you up. Service was great, and food came out quickly. I'd definitely eat there again.Food: 4/5
The combo sandwich at Louie's is fantastic. However, the drive-thru service could use some improvement. Please pay attention to my order before interrupting me to ask if that's all!

My 2nd visit. The omelettes are amazing! Fast, friendly service. Reasonable prices. My husband said his skillet was delicious!
