Such a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. First of all : hostess was absolutely RUDE, I had a drink in my hand about to be done it it from a previous activity that we had on the beach) and the hostess repeatedly claimed that I need to get rid of it in order to be seated.. ok.. no big deal, dumped the drink away and got seated outside, the hostess lady threw the menus on the table and walked away with some kind of attitude... As locals, we have been coming in here at least 5 times a year, and most of the times the food was good. But last 2 times we had dinner was soooo bad. We got Grouper with shrimp and the shrimp was overcooked and had a metallic taste, disgusting... Service was good. But the food was no...

The location is great. The restaurants very pretty but our server was overbearing and quite rude. It would have been great if we were allowed to order something without his opinion on what we should get. And exactly what type of restaurant with the word Louisiana in the name does not have red beans and rice. Also the coffee's better at the gas station and the chicken and grits. You really had to look for the grits because you get so much cream sauce, You don't know what you're eating.

What a great memorable experience to share with my mother. Travis and Jacoby were absolutely phenomenal and the lobster rangoons were to die for. I will say, it's chilly and you need to bring something for your arms. Overall a very good time, food was amazing and service was top-tier. I look forward to going back.

Insanely good........i got a filet mignon topped with lobster and a garlic butter sauce....so so good. i am not exaggerating when i say the steak melts in your mouth. it was cooked to perfection. service was outstanding. the views of the water were outstanding. the food to die for. It was the worst food I have ever eaten in Destin during my stay. The fish was overcooked, tasteless, the breading was soggy. There were four of us and no one liked their dish. I would not recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food.

Everything was great! Food was delicious and freshly prepared. Chris made things easier by having knowledge about the menu, owners, and past owners as it relates to the Louisiana Connection. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time there.

Wonderful place to celebrate a special event! Coupons available for a free appetizer, some really good shrimp. I had the grouper, my wife had stuffed shrimp. Very tasty and a super view. Attentive staff. Nice place to dine.
