L'oulivie - Reservar una mesa

This is a restaurant that could have it all: located in the old town of Vence, provencal kitchen, simple but elegant, and a nice menu. All food we had was quite good and we went for the entire menu. I had a classic steak frites;...very well done. However, several of the suggestions for the day was not available, and the service was incredibly slow. Several time we had to ask for the menu; to order; and to pay. Three times we had to search for the person serving us who had mysteriously disappeared! I would hesitate returning.

Firstly can’t fault the service with respect to fact that one very kind lady was serving the entire restaurant and she was doing a great job. However the food was disappointing in that the ingredients were there but the taste and quality was lacking. Thanks

Very good dinner produced by a couple who have a very good routine, the menu and quality is excellent and the house wine is good and very reasonable price wise.Would recommend for the location and food served, toilets also clean.

After a disappointing starter of courgette flowers in batter, which was more like a pancake, I think pre cooked and reheated the food improved to a pretty good standard.

Warm attentive service , excellent tasty cooking , nice wine selection we really enjoyed eating there and we shall be back !!!
