We had a great meal here. We were warmly welcomed by Tim who gave us some really good suggestions on what to eat and drink. He even gave us a complementary glass of wine to try as an alternative the that we had chosen. We sat inside as the evening was chilly but plenty of people were outside on the terrace. There was plenty of food and for once, the cheese platter had plenty of cheese - unlike in the UK! I really enjoyed my meal - the steak was delicious and my partner's pork was equally as good.
Stopped here after wandering around looking for somewhere to eat in the evening and we weren't disappointed. Service was good and the staff were friendly. The food was pretty good to although to be honest I have to say the mains didn't live up to the standard of the starters which were outstanding. Good selection of beers and overall the place represented good value for money. The beer seemed expensive but no more so than other establishments in the town. I would recommend this place to others.
The cassoulet is fantastic, it was the best bite from our visit. There was s bit of a language barrier but they worked it and we communicated effectively - just slowly. It's a very good value for the quality as compared to cost. We started with charchuterie for the group and it was delicious and generous. Great meats, cheeses and accompaniments. The wine was so so, but it was reasonably priced and adequate. The beer was great. Recommend this restaurant for family and friends eating.
This place is right in the middle of Fontainebleau, right across from one of the entrances to the chateau, so we expected it to be a bit of a tourist trap. We could not have been more wrong. The food was great and the waiter was friendly and attentive. There was a nice fixed price menu for lunch. I had the steak and my wife and friends had the fish. Both were excellent. And of course sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day made the whole experience a great one.

The kitchen had just closed at 4pm, but there was a snack menu, and we had a good chicken ceasar salad and a toasted sandwich and a nice dessert. Sit outside and watch the world go by. The staff was helpful and spoke some English and tolerated our poor French.
Had a business dinner here. Food and service were good. It was convenient to several hotels, pubs and chateau. They offered duck, salmon, beef, fairly standard, dependable type food with helpful service. Staff were fluent in English and helpful.
A very nice restaurant in the heart of Fontainebleau. Food is always good and in the 5 times that I have been there, the service has been professional and upbeat.

Nothing extraordinary but reasonably good lunch. Nice terrace close to the castle. Prices slightly above average but that's typical for a touristy area.
Excellent service & great food for a correct price. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our dinner in the center of this charming litttle French town.
