Love Belizean - Reserva de mesa

This place was on my list for a long time. We finally tried pickup from them during covid times. The place seemed small but clean. The food was ready fairly quickly. We tried their belizean chicken and red beans curry. Both came with a flavorful coconut rice and these vinegary onions, that were a great accompaniment. The chicken was very well cooked and falling off the bones. The red beans were good but nothing too great. I was expecting the food to be bursting with flavor, which it wasn't. I do think there's heart in this restaurant though. Although there's a limited menu, but would still like to try more from here.

This hidden gem is fantastic! The chicken is incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, so you won’t even need any of the variety of hot sauces offered. The rice is delicious, and each meal comes with a side salad. Be cautious with the hot sauces, as they can pack quite a punch, so it's best to start with a little. They recommend the original sauce and the prickly pear, which provide just the right amount of heat and flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is always bustling with happy customers. Overall, it’s a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend you give it a try!

The menu has only four items, but that's perfectly fine. I tried the Belizean chicken for $11 (as of April 2022) and it was really delicious! The dish was well-balanced, featuring chicken, rice, and a fresh salad. The sauces are intriguing, and I believe they’re listed from least spicy to most spicy. I also tried the cricket dish, and I absolutely loved it. It was an unusual experience, but surprisingly refreshing.

I am so glade this place survived the pandemic and desertification of downtown. I just went for lunch with colleagues and it's still as good as before. Good the double chicken plate with mild habanero sauce (still has a good kick) it was delicious and all my colleagues really loved it! Reserva una mesa ahora

Belizean chicken is delicious. make sure you get the double! I was not a fan of how vinegary the two sauces I tried were. Would appreciate if they offered samples or gave a description of the sauces so you could understand the flavor profile before ordering.

first order of takeout, as I have heard great reviews from my hubby. ordered double chicken plate (big portions contain rice beans and salat) so excited to eat that I have forgotten to take a picture of it. the artwork in the resto is amazing.

Absolutely delicious food and friendly service! The wait was short, but it was definitely worth it. I ordered two dishes and can't wait to enjoy the rest! We look forward to your visit!

This place has incredible food at a great price! And the salsas are perfect. They're on the side and actually spicy and tasty! I will be bringing friends here for sure!

Best Caribbean cuisine, it was tasty and they give option of two free sauces and I had Caribbean heat and it was really hot.
