This was such a great gem to get to eat at. I found this place just by googling great local places to eat near Cleveland, and saw this and had to try it. We stopped here on a day trip to Cleveland, and it was worth the extra time to get to it. The place was super clean and nice, and all the food was top notch quality. We chatted with the owner since we made the trip and wanted to hear but the story of the restaurant, and the were so sweet. Home made black and white cookies were to die for! I miss those, and as an NYC transplant who does not have good bagels, black and white cookies, and Jewish deli foods near me anymore, this was a great place to discover. Definitely worth the drive!!! I had a terrible experience; the waitress was acting very strange he and the other cooks kept mean mugging and staring at me for some strange odd reason, and made me feel un welcomed, then I caught one of the cooks acting suspicious, looking around, blocking me from seeing what he was putting in my food; who happened to be the Manager on shift Named Dan or Dave. I askedfor the owners phone, and the manager displayed non-verbal reluctance, I called the owner (Anthony) to try to relay whathappened. He questioned how i get his number. I tried to explain to him what happened and before i could, he told me not to callhim ever again and hung up the phone . Owner.

Today, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered the #1 east side sandwich and was not satisfied with my order. The manager and cook on duty were unhelpful and indifferent to my concerns. They refused to offer a refund, remake, or substitution. I felt disrespected that they took my money without addressing my dissatisfaction. It's disappointing to see the contrast between the friendly owner and the disrespectful behavior of his employees. I have enjoyed dining at this restaurant in the past, but I will no longer support it due to the rude manager.

I was disappointed with the beef brisket at Where is the Beef restaurant on Eastside. The brisket, priced at $15.00, was only mildly smoked and seasoned with pickles and mustard on rye bread. I would have preferred a more heavily smoked brisket and felt I could have saved money by going to a different BBQ joint. The portion of brisket was also smaller than expected. If I wanted corned beef, I would have chosen a different restaurant. Overall, I was let down by the BBQ recommendations at Where is the Beef. Reserva una mesa ahora

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I had heard great things about it, so I decided to order sandwiches for dinner. I got the brisket sandwich and my husband ordered the corned beef Reuben. However, both sandwiches tasted the same and were very fatty with minimal flavor. I couldn't even finish mine. Not only that, but the prices were high too. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

We have visited this restaurant frequently and it continues to improve. The Reuben sandwich is fantastic, my son really enjoys the chicken sandwich. We also ordered the cole slaw and it was very tasty, still crunchy (although I would prefer a little less mayo, but still very good).

The food at this restaurant is good, but they never seem to have brisket. They might as well remove it from their name. It's like me going to Banter Poutine and finding out they're out of poutine. It just doesn't make sense.

Oh my god, the Reuben is incredible. Some of the best brisket I've ever had in one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The cashier told me to get the reuben, and was 100% right I cannot tell you how good that sandwich was. Reserva una mesa ahora

My first visit. Recommended by locals. The brisket on our three sandwiches was fattier than most corned beef or pastrami sandwiches I order. Friendly service.
