We were in a large group of work friends looking for place to dine on a Friday night night of a very busy pre-Christmas Sydney.Walking along Kent Street we spotted Lucetta, it just looked so inviting that we enquires as to whether they could take a group of 12 without a booking. A big challengeEven though they had large number of reservations and were very busy, a Staff Member said not a problem as long as we didn't mind dining outside. Not a problem on a beautiful Australian Summer evening. Tables and chairs were quickly re-arranged to suite our group, menus presented and explained while drink orders taken.Service in this restaurant is just superb; it is friendly, with good humour, helpful...
Impromptu find at around 7.30pm. Busy vibe, and friendly staff (plus hunger and a requirement for a 'comfort break') got our attention.Service was a little haphazard to start, but certainly nothing other than just a busy spell which is great to see.Table swiftly set up and wine choices explained and offered.great selection of wines, all available by glass or bottle.Our food was simply the best, hottest, freshest and most wholesome chicken (bacon ad mushroom) risotto my partner has ever had.And I had the leanest, tastiest lamb shoulder my partner has ever tasted.All in all a great find, slightly off the beaten track, but certainly worth finding.
We were in Sydney for a weekend without kids and decided to go to a small restaurant and as I an still in love with Italy after a visit last year we chose Ludetta. I was a little dissapointed with the garlic bread and when I mentioned that it wasn't as good as I had expected, they came back and appologised with an explanation of what has gone wrong and took it off the bill. Nice to find a restaurant that will actually listen to a customer and act. The reast of the meal was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to go back next time I am in Sydney.
Having moved into the area recently, we were delighted to find this place just two doors away.It's just been renamed as 'The local Eatery" but that won't change the fact it offers some of the best Gluten free Pizza's we have ever eaten.It's small and not over formal, but the food is great and the staff are very attentive and polite.It's location isn't in the main area for restaurants in the CBD, but worth a walk out towards Observatory Hill and Barangaroo Reserve and you will find this on Kent Street

The staff were so welcoming and lovely. We were on our way to a restaurant we found online when we came across Lucetta. The menu sounded nice so we decided to go in. My partner ordered the lamb shoulder which he really enjoyed and myself the chicken lucetta with vegetables. The vegetables were cooked perfectly with a little crunch just how I like it. It's a cute little place with a simple, reasonably priced menu that is done well!
Wir waren mit Familie rund eine Woche in Sydney und wohnten in einem kleinen Häuschen im Stadtteil Miller's Point unweit dem Observatorium. In unserer Straße war Lucettas Restaurant und wir waren so zufrieden, dass wir gleich zweimal dort zum Abendessen waren. Gutes Essen nicht nur Pizza, man sitzt nett und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Klare Empfehlung.
We were staying at the shangri la and keen for pizza. The Lucetta is a short walk under the highway to a lovely high end condo neighbourhood. Pizza and ingredients were fresh and thin crust. Caprese salad simple but very fresh. Great selection of wine by the glass. Service friendly and efficient.
A very regular lunch spot for me. The $15.80 lunch special is great value with a full size pizza (or pasta) and a glass of wine (or beer). Service is always friendly and meal always served with complimentary water and condiments to suit. It will continue to be a regular spot for me.

The food is amazing, fresh and delicious. The service is attentive and Jo is a fabulous host. It made our nite memorable.
Great food and wonderful ownership deeply involved in the business. Pizzas are outstanding! Now called The Local Eatery.
