Lucha Libre - Reserva de mesa

We wound up going here out of desperation when the blue lizard was closed during lunch hours- thankfully they had very clear menus stating which items had “traces of gluten” and which were a hard gluten free. Admittedly the options for the latter were pretty limited, but they had a few fish dishes, safe chips and guac, some kind of bean dish started, and a salad. I’m not a fish person so I was stuck with a salad and chips lol- but hey, desperate times. Was grateful for their understanding and good English atleast!

Although the options for the latter were quite limited, they had a few fish dishes, safe chips and Guac, a kind of bean dish started, and a salad. I'm not a fish person so I stuck with a salad and chips but hey, desperate times. Was grateful for her understanding and good English Atleast!

All vegetarian and vegan options, although limited, we are clearly marked on the menu. The staff could confirm if a product was vegan or not. The guacamole and chips were good. The roasted rice with tofu entree was delicious; richly seasoned but not hot in the temperature. A side salad was delicious with the salad, with a light, non-oily mango dressing and pomegranate seeds.

This restaurant has been a discovery. We were two couples with 3 kids, they allocated us in a big and calm space upstairs. The dishes were delicious and the staff always more than kind to us. Save some appetite for the desserts, they are great. Reserva una mesa ahora

So, I was struggling to find a GF restaurant in Lausanne and cane across Lucha Libre. And what a find. The food was amazing (although the GF menu is a little limited). The risotto was amazing as was the ceviche. Great atmosphere too.

Allergens are all written on the menu. The plate I took, lomo saltado was very very good !
