Luers im Heimathof

We were taken here by friends for dinner on a rainy night in December. The restaurant is in a park (the Landestwinschule, Melle) which holds a number of medieval buildings, and is apparently used by a local sports school. The Heimathof is located in one...of these spectacular buildings. The restaurant consists of a series of rooms separated by timber framed railings on two levels. We were seated in a long table next to the fireplace. After an excellent beer, I enjoyed a lovely pumpkin ginger soup, and a hearty (after being pounded) venison rolled around mushrooms in a juis, served with purple cabbage and knoodl on the side (sort of a potato dumpling). we've been dining here with a big group of friends. the service was excellent, especially in consideration of the size of our group, and eating was delicious and freshly cooked. the interior of the restaurant is beautifully furnished and the building is located in a very beautiful park. thanks for the experience!

beautiful restaurant in a beautiful park area. our diner was fantastic. everything is done on the day and nothing is made of packages. the prices are very reasonable. service was very friendly. we will certainly return to this restaurant when we are in the opposite.

the restaurant is very well furnished, with a very beautiful and attractive environment. eating was fantastic, all very fresh, very tasty, with charm! realy recommended.
