Luigi's - Reserva de mesa

Quite a basic restaurant inside with limited ambience. Could definitely do with sprucing up, as the place isn 't particularly cosy or inviting. I first visited over 10 years ago and nothing at all has changed. Service was welcoming and friendly, especially the manageress who was lovely. Menu is limited to pasta and a few other main dishes. Pizzas are not on the menu. Food is 'ok '. Bruscetta is made from what looked liked supermarket baguettes sliced up and toasted. Pasta dishes are tasty but nothing out of the ordinary and I could probably make similar myself at home. There is nothing bad about this restaurant, but it doesn 't have the wow factor either. Not sure I get what all the fuss is...

We were visiting Ambleside for a few days and wanted a dog friendly restaurant, we found this place online . We were seated downstairs in the dog friendly area , it was lovely , with a very nice fire , and when we were seated , a blanket was brought out for Labrador to sit lie on , a really nice touch . Food was delicious and really well priced, very large portions . A special mention to Charlie our waiter , what an absolute asset to the restaurant he is , he was lovely and polite but so lovely to our dog too , we found out his Mum works in the restaurant too Mum if you read this , he’s an absolute credit to you . Good luck with the Rugby Charlie and keep up the good work in the restaurant....

Great little family run italian restaurant. The food was jomely but excellent, and the chef accommodated a dairy free diner too which was very much appreciated. The waitress was 1st class, friendly and helpful. Thank you for a very nice evening, and for making it into work through the snow.

A last minute booking in Ambleside that did not disappoint. Prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. If we were to stay in the area again we would most certainly return. Our waitress was fabulous and very attentive during our visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely traditional cuisine, fabulous service. I've been visiting Ambleside for over 10 years, always no 1 on my list to visit. Constantly excellent and a pleasure to support an independent family business. See you next time

As soon as we arrived staff were very friendly and accommodating, all the food we ordered was really nice including the dessert. Would recommend if you are looking to eat in Ambleside.

Gorgeous italien food cooked to order and absolutely delightful,good menu choices with Happy Hour 6 7 pm and an excellent variety dishes.
