"My favorite dim sum spot. The shu mai are always good and I always get the hot and sour soup during the winter. The sticky rice in lotus leaf is also a favorite."

Wow! We haven’t been in quite some time but remember it being the place for authentic delicious Chinese food. Not tonight! We ordered online—first time for that. No mention that you must order rice because we didn’t get any with our food order. I asked for mooshu pork—we got chicken. I asked them to roll the pancakes for us— they did not; no green onions and the “pancakes” were flour tortillas—yes, they were. Orange chicken? I think they forgot the sauce— it was basically fried chicken pieces with a little something on it and a few pieces of orange rind. We also had black pepper beef which was pretty bland flavorless. The beef was pretty nice pieces of what looked like lean flank steak in a brown sauce with lots of onions and a few pieces of chopped pepper. And to top It off, there was only one woman working that we could see. She could not find our order when we came in and finally handed my husband a stack of papers and told him to find our order. She didn’t speak good English, so that may have been part of the issue. The restaurant has seen better days. It looks dirty and very old inside—not well kept. Doesn’t look like a place you’d want to sit down at a table to eat. This was a huge disappointment.

Old-school Chinese restaurants, some of the staff have limited English, but although the service is not friendly, it is efficient and the restaurant is clean. The menu is loaded with pictures so if you have difficulty deciphering what the food items are, you can take a peek. The appetizers are delicious, including the chicken feet, salt and pepper squid and the entrée sole salt and pepper deep-fried is good too. My only complaint is that if the prices on the menu or not would appear on your bill! My dinner ended up being over $70 with tip is I was charged more than the mini price. I paid the bill this time but if I do go back, I will call them out on it.

Me and my family were driving from long ways away and hadn't eaten anything for a day. So we saw this was near by and thought Chinese food sounded good in the moment we went expecting a restaurant is was in a grocery store and it was horrible. The people were nice but then again they weren't the best. We tried eating but we couldn't because it was awful. The only decent thing was orange chicken and fried rice but that was burnt a bit.

We stopped in after 7pm, and they close at 8, so I will say that if you were just wanting one or two meals the ready-to-go options were a little limited- but we ordered a family pack and were able to browse for a few groceries while they whipped up fresh lo-mein for us- everything was great and I will definitely be back ?Wheelchair accessibility: It's just inside Dierbergs doors; definitely accessible
