I don't often write restaurant reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after visiting this place based on a recommendation from a local Facebook group. It was undoubtedly the best meal we've had in years! The focaccia bread, freshly made on-site, was warm and absolutely delightful. The fig, gorgonzola, and prosciutto appetizer was fantastic. We were even treated to a complimentary artichoke appetizer that simply melted in our mouths. The main courses were outstanding; the homemade squid ink pasta with lobster in a light cream sauce was especially delicious.

I finally had the opportunity to visit Lupa, and I couldn't be happier about it! This restaurant in downtown Berkeley Heights is truly exceptional. Wow ! I have just experienced a piece of Italy in Berkeley Heights New Jersey. The food is fabulous. All the pasta , bread and deserts are homemade and delicious beyond my highest expectations. The freshest food you'll ever eat by far! This restaurant was recommended to me and wow did it exceed the hype! Since it was my first time visiting I ordered three appetizers, two entrees, drinks and of course dessert to share with my colleague. Everything. Was. Wonderful. Came here for dinner to celebrate my friend?s birthday earlier in the week and we had the best time! If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, look no further! This is hands down the best restaurant I've ever visited, and my wife is from Italy, so I know what I'm talking about. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the staff is very attentive. You will not be disappointed. Make sure to go here and nowhere else!

Loved my experience at this restaurant! The chef was beyond hospitable and amazing! He loves his craft and cares for the experience of his patrons. The drinks were 10/10 as well as the Salmon! Great ambiance! Will be coming back with friends as often as possible.
