We avoided this location for years because we could never get a table for 5 without a 1hr wait on the weekends. Last couple of times is just me and my wife so the wait is short, if any, and in a busy weekend we have even sat at the bar. Great atmosphere all around, although larger parties always look crammed. The drinks are great and the menu choices are varied and cheaper that I would have expect. I'll keep coming back. If in Houston... a must try! This location is on the smaller side, but it has both indoor bar and table) and exterior covered and not covered) seats. The food is fresh, tasty and in a very generous part, compared to other similar places. The frozen margaritas are delicious. Parking is somewhat limited, but it is because of the area surrounded by other restaurants and pubs! The ambience and decor is really very beautiful, especially if you want to relax after a long day. Room Can be limited for big parties 4)

It's was like sitting down with an old friend ,I haven't seen in a very long time ,sharing an amazing meal.my favorite is the 3 pepper steak.i think the one near hwy 6 was the first a house converted to a funky tex mex hide away. Es muy Bueno.!! I left happy,feeling welcomed in the present Comfortable with the past still remaining It was my best day

A lot of food included in each ordered item. Sangria was refreshing. Hatte chips (2 salsa offers), chicken quesadilla and green salad (poblano dressing). Previously, Steak fajita ordered to go well. The food was great. I tried red hot enchilatos. The ambience of the hotel is the attraction. It's an old school house that's turned into a joint. Great place to relax with some spicy Mexican dishes and drinks. The best place to relax after a hectic day.

This is one of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston. The queso is absolutely amazing and if you want to try something different, get the steak Lupe, which is grilled fajita meat, served with the lime pepper and covered with white cheese.

Friendly service. Absolutely delicious dishes. Steak Lupe was fantastic, beef was a perfect medium. The ribs were excellent; Spicy and perfectly cooked. Wish we could come back again soon.

I'm not that crazy about Texmex, but Lupe Tortilla is noteworthy because they have some really tasty fajitas! __This became an unexpected stop for us
