Lupe Tortilla Mexican

Lupe can be great or it can be just okay. If you want GREAT, order the fajitas, in particular the filet mignon. The only negative is that those bad boys are pricey! I came a few times and had great service, but on my last visit, we had an awkward experience. I'll still be back, but it may be a while. The tortillas are yummy and fresh, which is probably one of my favorite things about this spot. My least favorite thing is the queso. I do not recommend it. Also, Drinks are just okay too. When I don't order fajitas, I like the enchiladas. But beware, the red sauce is not the same as the tex mex sauce and I was not aware, so when I ordered them I got red sauce. Lupe used to be my favorite restaurant for the longest time. This goes back to houston in the mid 90's. The fact the it was the most expensive Tex Mex didn't matter. The food was awesome. That is not the case any longer. The beef fajitas don't have that incredible flavor and zing they used to have. Sure the food is still fresh and it is good, but it's no longer amazing. It pains me to write this review, but I hope somebody sees this and corrects it. Until then, I'll save my money and eat elsewhere.

My family and I love to visit for Sunday Brunch. The food is always great. Sometimes it takes a bit to get seated since every place is short on staff lately. My partner and I generally have Carne Asada and eggs then oddly enough we split an order of pancakes. The kids always have the pancakes which are some of the best weve ever had. Weve been several times for dinner as well and always had great food.

First time here and I enjoyed it very much. Friendly staff, nice indoor outdoor seating areas. The drinks were delicious and food was flavorful. They do have a vegan menu and I ordered the cheese enchiladas. I wouldn't say the rice has a traditional Mexican taste, but the beans are delicious. Would definitely be returning with friends! super slow. they saw the workers in a group of 4 all the time we were there. the food was good. However, alyssa, the barkeeper was amazing. so friendly and helpful and made an excellent, non-sweet margarita. well done. they will go far in living with these inner personal skills and friendly demeanor. keep the great work.

loved our dinner experience and the beautiful ambiente at lupe tortilla. top regal margaritas and Mexican beer on tap were excellent! the red green enchiladas and chicken filled poblano entrees were delicious. tres leches cake hit the sweet place and finished the evening perfectly!

Great atmosphere! We got seated fairly quickly. Lizzie was really helpful and pleasant. The good was really good as was the salsa! Mahi tacos, chicken fajita nachos, enchiladas Verde and shrimp brochette. I'll be back to try the margaritas and some of the other dishes. ?

I got this place delivered to me while I was at work, best decision!! I absolutely love it! The chicken flautas were divine. Still piping hot when it arrived. The Queso was perfect and the beans and rice is to die for. Definitely will be ordering here again! Reserva una mesa ahora

large selection of food. it was my first time and the manager came out, gave us a sample of the food, checked us. it was great! I'm back!
