I live in the port area and I regularly pass in front of the "ma nolan's": so I go there as soon as I have the opportunity, most often with friends for an aperitif or an evening end. the terrace is huge, although often quite noisy and close to the road. The interior of the pub, which is typical of those found in irland or in Great Britain, is rather friendly, all in wood, with tame lights, television screens and good music (often strong nevertheless.) the atmosphere is warm, animated, joyous, often festive and cosmopolitan. the clientele, as well as the servers (preventing and efficient) is varied and mostly Anglo-Saxon, which makes sense in such an establishment. an atmosphere always nice to have a beer with friends, but the kitchen is big, anything! fried onions too fried and oiled, a hamburger billed almost 17 euros, demande saignant and dry meat, a basic bread type supermarket (which still does this in 2017) dried and without flavor, an unclean and dry bacon ... short the culinary disbandade in a sencé pub make simple and good cuisine. all to see.
with friends we participated in the quizz on Thursday night! Guaranteed fun! the quizz is very playful, the beer is good (especially when it is offered thanks to the right answers) and the burgers are very copied. An excellent atmosphere, a warm team...Break, a very good evening with friends.
Big portions, ideal for the big eater. Lovely tasting food. Ideal for family's during the day but night time is too lovely and not suitable for the kiddies. Lovely platter for starter but we had it between 4, would have been too much for just 2 of us

Always call in for an evening pint, when in Nice, which is quite often. Friendly, good grub and nice view over the Port
