Macario's - Reserva de mesa

If only there were a ZERO STARS option.... Not only has the service declined but so has the food, which I got FOOD POISONING from. This used to be one my Husband and I's favorite places. I can honestly say we will never spend another penny here. The waitress was rude from the beginning and decided to completely ignore us once she saw the looks on our faces when we received our drinks and food. My Husband's michelada was absolutely gross, there was not any other flavor profile than straight chili powder and salt. It was a bitter, salty, unpleasant drink. I ordered a strawberry margarita, they did not have the tequila that I requested so I told them whatever kind they had was just fine with me...

Despite this issue, the food was enjoyable, with a variety of vegetarian options available. My son particularly enjoyed the chicken chalupa/enchilada combo, while my husband was surprised to find that the deluxe enchilada special only included one enchilada with beans and rice for $11.00. My la grande tostada was also delicious, reminiscent of a taco salad. Overall, the food was tasty, but the overcharging incident left us with mixed feelings. It is recommended to carefully review your bill if dining at this restaurant.

My wife and I ate here today for the first time and the food was great! The enchiladas, beans and rice were wonderful. My wife had the Chicken Fajitas Quesadilla and she said it was the best she has ever had. If you are in the area this is a definite place to eat and we will be back very soon!

I was extremely disappointed with the food at this restaurant. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito and found the chicken to be bland and covered in a sauce that tasted terrible. Food came out way too fast to be fresh plus I didn't really like the flavor. Not much of it to like it. Pretty plain. Service was good.

Don't let the exterior appearance fool you...very clean, local, family style place with great food and reasonable prices.
