Made In Italy Trattoria

I first had Made in Italy about 6 months ago, and have been there 6 times since, including having my wedding reception dinner in their speakeasy. I have at least sampled all of their pasta dishes and a few of their chicken dishes and can say that I enjoyedthem all. The Vesuvio, Spaghetti Carbonara, Chicken Manicotti, and Gnocchi were my favorite options, and their desserts arefantastic too! Great place for a date, and their speakeasy is a really good room for a small private event. Our reception had 16people and the size of the room was perfect.

Portions are really generous. Service is nice. Enjoyable place to be on a nice evening; the outdoor seating really is a good touch. The meatballs aren 't meaty, texture is weird since they 've been 'whipped ' too much badly overmixed in a machine. (sadbut all to common when cooking en masse) And they 're bland needs something like some peccorino, or anchovypaste.....something. Pretty decent place; pasta is fresh. Fish is good too. We 've had 7 or 8 of their dishes over the lastyear.

My husband and I have been visiting Made in Italy since 2019. It's about a 45-minute drive for us, but has grown to be a family favorite for special occasions. You simply can't beat the Short Rib Cappellacci... it's divine. On this occasion, we celebrated my son's college graduation with his favorite teacher from middle school.

Somehow I grew up in Wheaton, only about a mile from this place, and never came here until my mid 40s! And am I glad I finally did! The chick parm and lasagna were excellent, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was just like the name says madein Italy. Fantastic experience. I'll be back! Reserva una mesa ahora

Our meals were delicious as usual. The servers were really slammed as the restaurant (like many) was very short-staffed. They did the absolute best they could. Please, please be patient and friendly to restaurant staff when dining out these days.

This Italian restaurant in the Western Suburbs is the best, no contest. The service is excellent and the ambiance is authentic. Every dish we've tried has surpassed our expectations.

Great place. A bit noisy when the restaurant is full but worth it. Excellent dinner. Excellent service. It's our go to place.
