This review is a bit late, but better late than never! This place has always been a favorite of mine, both before and after COVID. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The drink and beer selection is fantastic. When I visit, I usually start with their maple old-fashioned, followed by a beer to wrap up my work night. They have a great selection of beers, and it's one of the few places where I can find Reissdorf Kölsch. Recently, I've also tried some of their other cocktails, and they've all been excellent. Lastly, I love that I can enjoy a bucket of Montauk beers while hanging out with friends. Cheers!
Maggie Mae's is a casual bar and good for group of people. You can take food outside because they only have drinks. Bartender is nice and friendly even at night when we left, it was just her work. We all have drinks, we didn't miss anything. The place has plenty of space and tables to hang out. Price point is good, so if you just like and simply want to cool out and talk to friends, I recommend.
Went here last night with a group of about 20 for my birthday. We didn't rent a private area but the staff at Maggie Mae's was so accommodating and offered to put a few tables on reserve for us. Drinks were great and reasonably prices and they allowed us to bring in outside food which was awesome. The staff was seriously the best and will definitely be returning here in the future :
Love this place! The best bar in Sunnyside, great prices, the bartenders are amazing and really know how to get cocktails, spicy Margarita and Neger are amazing. The Bartenders are super nice, their reminds me of the TV show Cheers, all there literally afflicts you and your name.

This is a laid-back place with a great selection of beers, liquor, and cocktails. The bartenders are fantastic, making it one of the top bars around. Nilly is the standout!

This place has the freshest Guinness in NY! The staff is super friendly. You can also bring your own food, definitely a bonus!
