La comida estaba bien, pero decepcionada por un miembro del personal femenino (el gerente?) Que nos hizo sentir realmente incómodos e intentamos que nos vayamos inmediatamente después de comer de una manera no muy sutil ... traer la cuenta que no habíamos pedido , y luego regresando y diciendo: '¿Estás listo para pagar ahora' 5 minutos después? Luego nos miró continuamente después de que pagáramos hasta que nos fuimos (en un tranquilo martes por la noche, no menos, con todas las 3 tablas ocupadas). Bastante grosero, realmente ... y no 'gracias' o incluso contacto visual una vez que pagamos. El servicio realmente decepcionó. Vergüenza ya que el curry era (caro pero) agradable.
Food was ok but letdown by a female staff member (the manager?) who made us feel really uncomfortable and tried to get us to leave immediately after eating in a not very subtle way... Bringing the bill which we hadn't asked for, and then coming back and saying 'are you ready to pay now' 5 minutes later. Then continually eyed us up after we paid until we left (on a quiet Tuesday night no less, with all of 3 occupied tables). Pretty rude really.. and no 'thank you' or even eye contact once we paid. Service really let them down. Shame as the curry was (overpriced but) nice.
¡Nos gusta ir a Maharajah! El personal es genuinamente acogedor y que establece el estado de ánimo. Buena gama de platos de cene adentro y para llevar, así como los condimentos esperados. Prefiero las salsas basadas en tomate a sus cremosas. Estamos trabajando en nuestro camino a través de los menús de carne de res y pollo y disfrutando de todo hasta ahora. Grandes sabores y texturas. Solo a la baja, a veces el Naan ha sido quemado, lo cual es decepcionante, y Samosas puede tener un sabor excesivamente salado como si hubieran sido cubiertos con sal.
We enjoy going to Maharajah! The staff are genuinely welcoming and that sets the mood. Good range of dine-in and take-away dishes as well as the expected condiments. I prefer the tomato-based sauces to their creamy ones. We are working our way through the beef and chicken menus and enjoying everything so far. Great flavours and textures. Only downside - sometimes the naan has been burnt which is disappointing, and samosas can have an overly salty tang as if they have been dusted with salt. Reserva una mesa ahora
Amo amo amo este lugar. Mi esposa y yo decidimos romper nuestro ayuno con las deliciosas ofrendas en Maharaja. El servicio fue ejemplar y una delicia para contemplar. Los chiles fritos rellenos están locos. ¡Vindaloo podría haber sido más caliente, pero he quemado la mayoría de mis papilas gustativas a lo largo de los años con mi amor por las especias! ¡Este lugar se ve genial! La decoración es realmente agradable y las sillas son cómodas y el personal está atento. Pedimos el pollo de mantequilla que estaba tierno y delicioso, aunque un poco dulce. El cordero Karahi se estaba desmoronando y la salsa era sabrosa, pero le faltaba abuses de calor. ¡El Palak Paneer era el destacado absoluto! Ricotta bellamente al horno en una increíble salsa de espinacas y especias. Y su byo! ¡Ganador!
Love love love this place. My wife and I decided to break our fast with the delicious offerings at Maharaja. The service was exemplary and a delight to behold. The stuffed deep fried chilis are insane. Vindaloo could have been hotter but I have burnt most of my tastebuds off over the years with my love of spice! I can't rave about this place enough.... do yourself a favour and make a booking. AAA+++ WILL ALWAYS BE BACK FOR MORE
This place looks great! The decor is really nice and the chairs are comfortable and the staff are attentive. We ordered the Butter chicken which was tender and delicious although a little sweet. The Lamb Karahi was falling apart and the sauce was tasty but was lacking abit of heat. The Palak paneer was the absolute standout!! Beautifully baked ricotta in an amazing spinach and spices sauce. La mejor comida india que he comido. Me fui sintiéndome satisfecho pero no demasiado lleno. Es bueno poder conseguir un poco de vegeting al vapor para equilibrar los platos más ricos. El restaurante también tiene bebidas a precios razonables. Deja alguna habitación para el postre, fue el punto culminante. Especialmente el pudín de la zanahoria.
