As always, it was excellent. The calamari is generous enough for four people and is the best I've ever had. The New York strip was seasoned and cooked to perfection, rivaling any steak you can find elsewhere. The sides, including green beans and sautéed spinach, were decent but nothing special; they were sufficient for 2-3 people. The service was slightly below par, likely due to the restaurant being quite busy. I've been dining here for at least 15 years and plan to continue. I consider Mahogany to be one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced, and as a business traveler and food enthusiast, I've been to many.

The restaurant manager just contacted me and apologized again and offered a certificate for another experience at their restaurant. He assured me that this was so unusual, as I had expected, since the restaurant was totally occupied with no available times of changing my dining time meaning it was very popular As I had previously noted, ALL the food was delicious and would recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I understand things do happen and the restaurants manager prompt attention to my experience only makes my return inevitable:

The food was cooked to perfection. It had a little too much salt and pepper for my liking, as I prefer a milder steak. The service staff was incredibly friendly and readily available to answer all our questions. The only downside was that our booth was in a corner, which made it somewhat awkward to sit, and since it was near the window, it felt quite chilly throughout the meal.

the server was mastered by another server. she decanted the wee, but never came back to pour the wee. server was nice and pleasant.
