While on holidays in France we regularly travelled to this cafe (a 20 min drive from our accommodation). Beautiful setting, close to the market (3 times a week I think), pleasent chatty staff although I must apologize for my poor French! The coffee and the Pastries are fresh and tasty. Relaxing and enjoyable.
De passage sur l'île d'Oléron nous sommes allez dans cette boulangerie... très déçu par leurs pâtisseries.....nous y avons même découvert des vers dans une pâtisserie....je decommande cette boulangerie.....patrons désagréables......et lieux qui laisse à désirer.....
Excellente boulangerie-pâtisserie, avec un pain vraiment remarquable — ce qui devient rare (merci à Stéphane le boulanger ! . Une adresse qui vaut clairement le détour pour les amateurs de bon pain.

This is a lovely place to sit out on the pavement and enjoy a coffee and cake. They have a good selection of cakes, coffee and juice.
