This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. We were looking to try a few different places, but they were all closed, likely due to staffing shortages. We placed our order for three "horseshoes" at 6 PM, but didn’t receive our food until 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing:
1) The fries were starchy and undercooked.
2) The cheese was just nacho cheese sauce, which was really unappetizing.
3) The chicken on two of the horseshoes was extremely chewy and dry, lacking any flavor except for the unpleasant taste of freezer burn. To make matters worse, the chicken on the kids' horseshoe was still raw.
4) The pork on one of the horseshoes was dry, and some bites...
We go here anytime there is a Gem and Mineral show at the fairgrounds. We aren't from the area, so it's convenient to just cross the street. The color scheme is black with red accents. It's a dimly lit corner bar kind of vibe. When we go, they usually aren't busy, I imagine they get busier in the evening. The food is good. The service is friendly. It's a fairly cost effective place to eat. The most notable thing to me is the beautiful aluminum tile ceiling.
The food is excellent, but you really need to have a lot of time to spare. I've visited this restaurant four times, and each time, I found myself waiting 35 to 40 minutes for my meal. There have never been more than 2 to 4 tables occupied, including mine, during my visits. I kept giving them chances, hoping things would improve, but it seems like this is just their usual pace. That said, the quality and taste of the food are consistently good.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant three times now, and I won’t be returning. During my first visit, they forgot half of our order, but they did give us a refund. The second time was okay, but on my third visit, my burger was undercooked and pink in the middle. The customer service is disappointing as well; when I went to return the burger, there were people smoking cigarettes in the area, and none of the staff were wearing masks.

This is a really neat spot! As soon as you walk through the front door, you'll find yourself right in front of a pool table, which is a fun surprise. There's plenty of seating, a game room, and live music to enjoy. It's a great place to spend an evening grabbing a bite to eat, enjoying a drink or two, and listening to the band. It makes for a fun night out!
The food was good, but I was disappointed to be charged an additional 3 percent fee for using a credit card, which is a standard practice for the restaurant. I will not be returning as I believe that these fees should be covered by the business, not passed on to the customer.
I really love this place! They serve food until closing time, which is fantastic. In addition to the bar, there are three other restaurants here. Main Gate also offers a lot of takeout and DoorDash options. The food is excellent!
I have a fantastic experience every time I visit. The food is great, and they offer some good vegan options. I really appreciate the cooks—they have a wonderful energy, and I love how they make you feel like part of the family.

The server was wonderful! Very nice and quick service. The food was delicious! There are lots of meals to choose from, everyone can find something they like.
The thin crust pizza at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly!
